How To Use This Site for Bible Study

We have built this website for all who wish to increase their knowledge of the Bible by visiting its lands. We offer you the possibility of "surfing," as other travel sites do, but we also offer you the chance to "dive" into the historical and geographical depths.

For the purposes of virtual touring, you may begin at any of the links in our sample itineraries or on these maps:

In the coming years, we plan to expand the links to include Jordan and Greece (where NET also has branches), as well as Egypt, Syria and Turkey (where we maintain representative offices) .

Here are some pointers for those planning a tour:

1. Our guides have checked the logistics of the itineraries, but opening hours can change, especially because of the various religious holidays in this land. If you are visiting the land on your own, it is wise to call a few days in advance to confirm the opening hours. We provide telephone numbers under "Logistics" at each site. There is also a calendar of religious holidays.

2. In designing the core itinerary, we have assumed normal conditions. There have been periods, however, when certain sites have been unsafe. If you travel with a tourist agency and a licensed guide, they will be able to advise you. If you travel on your own, you should seek advice from the Tourist Information Office at (02) 625-8844 (Jerusalem) or (02) 274-1581 (Bethlehem).

NET and the creators of this website are not responsible for any damages that might be incurred while using the website during travel in the land.
