Caesarea Philippi: Hike to Agrippas' palace

Photo/Comment by Mandy McLaughlin

"Whether we hiked in a hot desert canyon where a trickle of water ran, bartered for a tapestry on a narrow city street, or walked through the lush forest at Caesarea Philippi with waterfalls flowing beside the path, I knew the land on which I walked was alive.  It sings of Jesus, the Man who walked as no person had walked before or ever will.  It speaks of history that pointed to Him and a future whose only hope is in Him.  It longs for the world to look beyond the selfish ambitions that induce the fighting that plagues its borders; and to see what makes this little piece of geography so beautiful and unique."
