There are no good rest rooms in the church. There are decent ones at several stops on the way, for example in St. Anne's Church or across from the Third Station of the Via Dolorosa. There are public restrooms in the Muristan. Otherwise, one may have to take a break in one of the many nearby felafel restaurants.
You can best feel the power of this site if you visit in the early part of the morning, planning to finish by 9 a.m.
